Position Overview: As a pivotal member of SILK Laser Clinics, part of the Wesfarmers Health family, the Facilities and Equipment Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to our rigorous operational standards across our extensive network of laser, skin, and body clinics. This role encompasses the oversight of the Repairs & Maintenance Program and the Clinic Facilities Audit Program, guaranteeing the safety, efficiency, and brand integrity of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety, Health & Wellbeing:

  • Ensure a secure working environment by complying with organizational safety and risk management policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to maintain a safe and healthy atmosphere for both staff and clients.

Leadership:

  • Assist in the formulation and execution of processes aimed at ongoing enhancement.

Clinic Operations Support:

  • Supervise the Clinic Facilities Audit Program to uphold consistently high operational standards.
  • Manage and enhance the I-Audit Operating System and Clinics Ticketing system.
  • Evaluate business processes and collaborate with finance to effectively manage clinic expenditures.

Clinic Facilities Management:

  • Assess clinic audit findings and integrate repairs and maintenance into an annual plan.
  • Handle ad hoc requests for facility repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain an updated asset register for financial tracking.

Clinical Equipment Maintenance:

  • Ensure the availability of reliable suppliers and schedules for clinic equipment servicing and repairs.
  • Prioritize repairs that affect clinic/customer safety or operational performance.
  • Keep an accurate asset register for financial purposes.

New Clinics and Refurbishments:

  • Oversee sanctioned clinic refurbishment initiatives to ensure they are completed within budget and meet established standards.

Customer Experience Focus:

  • Emphasize customer-facing responsibilities to guarantee the highest quality of customer experience.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • Proven experience in a high-volume role, adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a customer-centric approach.
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial management.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including I-Audit and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and risk management.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively and adapt to changing circumstances.
