Pieno Cafe Cafe Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cafe Manager to join our team at Pieno Cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cafe operations, including dining in and catering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Scheduling and Staff Management: Create and implement weekly schedules that meet customer service needs while achieving financial labor targets. Provide daily leadership and assist staff to achieve high standards of customer service with a positive attitude.
  3. Inventory Management: Check day-to-day stock levels and maintain inventory records. Order stock, arrange for the purchase of products, and manage payments for purchased goods.
  4. Customer Service: Greet guests/customers and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service provided. Monitor menu items and make changes as needed in consultation with the owner and chefs.
  5. Health and Safety: Ensure that dining and drinking facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional, and of suitable appearance. Follow and enforce hygiene, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to have a strong understanding of cafe operations and be able to manage staff effectively.
