We're seeking an experienced Head Chef who shares our passion for delivering outstanding guest service and fostering a strong sense of community connection. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the Executive Chef and collaborating closely with Creative Food Director, Massimo Mele
  • A hands-on approach, leading by example and actively overseeing the delivery of high-quality products and services
  • Demonstrated success in achieving set targets on food and labour costs
  • Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of Grain's kitchen operations, serving both the 100-seat restaurant and the adjoining Grain Café

We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for the food industry, a modern approach to cooking, and flair for menu planning and design. Your high level of verbal communication, strong time management skills, and impeccable attention to detail will enable you to excel in this role. A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is essential.
