Job Description
The role of a Strategic Business Growth Specialist is a fusion of sales and product solutioning, requiring the individual to onboard more clients onto Visa Commercial Solutions LMM. This includes driving market development activities to expand revenue pools and win new accounts by building stronger relationships with existing and new partners.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase payments volume and secure long-term revenue with key issuers and partnerships
- Manage relationships with issuers and formulate commercial solutions go-to-market approaches in collaboration with account executives
- Drive new purchase volume and revenue with Visa commercial card issuers across all groups, securing targeted opportunities in public and private sectors in alignment with financial institution partners
- Capitalise on emerging customer needs and marketplace trends, collaborate with the Visa Commercial Solutions Hub team on new product development and innovation initiatives
- Contribute to quarterly business and account plans for assigned clients, agree with stakeholders on required actions and deliverables in close collaboration with account executives
- Demonstrate expertise in Visa products and services, commercial card solutions, and broad knowledge of merchant acceptance, e-commerce platforms, and digital payment solutions
- Engage with colleagues across Visa, ensuring relevant teams are informed and coordinated
- Develop and implement annual goals and plans, utilising a consultative sales approach that ensures clients' business objectives are met and performance metrics are optimised
- Analyse business opportunities to increase volume and share, implement both short and long-term strategies and tactics to increase profitability
