We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Partner Sales Director. This is a critical role that requires building strategic relationships with Global System Integrators (GSI) and driving the adoption of Ubuntu technology.
Main Responsibilities:- Establish trusted partnerships at all levels, fostering long-term collaborations with Ubuntu technology.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, as well as open-source selling models.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
- Closely collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams to deliver on targets and objectives.
- Lead executive interlocks between partners and leadership team.
- Substantial experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles.
- Familiarity with OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and other Cloud technologies.
- A self-driven, disciplined, hands-on approach with a get-it-done mentality.
- Ability to capture customer requirements, evaluate gaps, identify opportunities, and create solutions.
- Passion for Ubuntu products and mission.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
