POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary objective of this position is to deliver essential administrative assistance to our Case Managers, facilitating EML's commitment to effectively manage and ensure compliance in worker's compensation claims.

This role is situated within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, emphasizing proactive management and administration of claims. It is a Full Time Permanent position located in our Sydney CBD office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering comprehensive claims administration support to Case Managers
  • Engaging with policyholders to discuss wage matters, accurately determining wage entitlements, and processing payments
  • Managing phone communications, providing customer service, and relaying messages
  • Composing correspondence and performing data entry tasks
  • Organizing medical and travel appointments
  • Following up on invoices and concluding claims
  • Maintaining filing systems, dispatching files, and executing various administrative duties

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in administrative roles within the insurance or legal sectors is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated background in office support and administration
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel applications
  • High typing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and eagerness to learn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
