Job Description

Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with diverse needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include case management, developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs, and working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.

You will also be responsible for conducting assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to support clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management, including developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments;
  • Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Social Work;
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or AASW;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills;
  • Compassion and kindness;
  • A current SA Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
