We are seeking individuals with a professional background in occupational therapy, exercise physiology or physiotherapy interested in working in the occupational rehabilitation sector. This diverse role offers flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, while being supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals.

  • Case management: Manage caseloads effectively and work collaboratively with rehabilitation assistants to alleviate administrative tasks;
  • Client support: Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes and work closely with clients to develop and implement injury prevention programs;
  • Collaboration: Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third-party insurance and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Assessment and reporting: Conduct assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for clients;
  • Conduct assessments and provide reports to clients and stakeholders;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, employers and other healthcare professionals to achieve return-to-work outcomes;
  • Manage caseloads effectively and allocate tasks to rehabilitation assistants as needed;

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, exercise physiology or physiotherapy;
  • Full professional registration/accreditation with AHPRA or ESSA;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Current valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
