Job Overview

Trek Bicycle Corp (Australia) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager at our flagship store in Sydney CBD.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for bikes, a love for working in retail, and a drive to succeed. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the success of the store by focusing on operational aspects of the business.

You will develop leadership skills to support daily store operations, train employees, and participate in weekly service meetings. You will also exemplify the Trek sales process, fulfill administrative duties related to hiring and onboarding new employees, and maintain all aspects of store merchandising according to visual merchandising standards.

In this role, you will utilize your first-class organizational skills and attention to detail to delegate daily task list assignments and follow through on Lead List communication. You will also use the POS system to monitor sales and analyze trends.

We are offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, to attract a high-calibre candidate who is passionate about bikes and retail management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop leadership skills to support daily store operations and train employees
  • Participate in weekly service meetings
  • Exemplify the Trek sales process while being one of the top two sellers in store
  • Fulfill administrative duties related to hiring and onboarding new employees
  • Maintain all aspects of store merchandising according to visual merchandising standards
  • Utilize POS system to monitor sales and analyze trends
