Senior Leadership Role for Growth Strategy

As a State Lead VIC/TAS, you will spearhead the growth strategy within one of Westpac's critical home lending acquisition channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach a high-performing, State-based distribution team comprising Business Development Managers and Broker Support Officers.
  • Drive strategic growth, home loan settlements, broker experience, and NPS outcomes across the VIC broker channel.
  • Develop and execute targeted market activation strategies to maximise broker engagement and business opportunities.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for escalations and complex issue resolution between brokers, aggregators, and internal teams.
  • Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with key aggregators and top-tier broker groups to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Embed structured operating rhythms, sales disciplines, and performance routines across the team for consistent execution.
  • Support capability uplift and career development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Champion a strong risk culture and ensure compliance with customer service and risk management frameworks.

This role requires a deep understanding and exposure to the Mortgage Broker industry, proven experience in sales coaching and performance uplift, and an existing and credible broker network.
