
VIC and TAS Portfolio Development Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to lead and grow our VIC and TAS portfolio, developing strong relationships with Architects, Designers, and Specifiers to drive product specifications and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and deepen relationships with key stakeholders in the architecture and design space
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across VIC and TAS to increase market share
- Deliver compelling product presentations and engage decision-makers through consultative selling
- Stay informed about design trends, sustainability credentials, and technical product knowledge to support project specifications
- Manage a healthy pipeline, tracking specifications through to conversion with effective handovers to delivery teams
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain market insights, competitor activity, and project lifecycles to maximise opportunities
- Previous experience in architectural specification sales is highly regarded
- A strong network or ability to build relationships in the architecture and design space
- Passion for design and sustainability – ability to communicate effectively with specifiers
- Strong presentation and influencing skills – polished, confident, and persuasive
- Self-starter with initiative, strong time management, and ability to manage projects from specification to delivery
- CRM-savvy and commercially sharp – able to forecast, track and drive results
- Full-time position with immediate start preferred
- Generous commission structure with high OTE potential
