Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team at Burger Urge in Cairns. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining our facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of managing the restaurant, including staff management, food safety, customer service, inventory management, and financial performance.
  • Train and supervise staff, ensuring that all employees are properly trained in company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the scheduling of employees and ensure that all shifts are covered.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.

Salary: AUD 60,000 - 80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Estimated Salary Range: Based on the location and requirements of the role, we estimate the salary range to be between AUD 60,000 - 80,000 per annum.
