Electrical Engineering Opportunity

UNSW Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic to join the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications as a Lecturer in a Teaching and Research role.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing their own research in the area of Electrical Engineering, as well as teaching undergraduate and postgraduate classes. They will be given the opportunity to conduct classes, design and develop learning activities, and conduct and publish high-quality research as part of a team and/or independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Electrical Engineering
  • Conduct and publish high-quality research in Electrical Engineering
  • Design and develop learning activities for students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve research and teaching goals
  • Support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience. They will also have a proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments, as well as demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
