UNSW Australia invites applications for a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering, a key role in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career academic or an experienced professional looking to transition into academia. You will have the chance to develop your research expertise, teach and mentor students, and collaborate with colleagues on research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Engineering
  • Conduct research in Electrical Engineering, with opportunities for collaboration and publication
  • Engage with industry partners and stakeholders to develop research projects and collaborations
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs and policies
  • Supervise and mentor students, including PhD and Honours students

Requirements

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven teaching and research experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student success
