Position Overview

The School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at UNSW is seeking a dedicated Lecturer to engage in both teaching and research within the field of Electrical Engineering. Qualifications and Experience

For Associate Lecturer (Level A)

  • A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • A strong commitment to staying current with developments in the discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for teaching and learning design at various academic levels.
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and online learning methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage students and promote independent learning through effective assessment and feedback.
  • Evidence of commitment to professional development in teaching practices.
  • Ability to support and inspire a diverse student body and contribute to equity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Demonstrated capacity for high-quality academic research and independent inquiry.

For Lecturer (Level B)

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
