Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Newcastle Water Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading water resources assessments and providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead water resources assessments integrating water balance, water quality, flooding, and drainage aspects for traditional energy and resources projects and emerging asset transition applications.">
  • Be part of a team that includes leading practitioners in the NSW industry.">
  • Provide expert advice on hydrology and hydraulic modeling to inform planning studies through to detailed design of new infrastructure.">
  • Coordinate and review multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.">
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance our project delivery and business growth.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Strong understanding of environmental issues related to surface water management, particularly for energy and resource clients.">
  • Advanced analytical and spreadsheet abilities, with intermediate GIS capability preferred.">
  • Candidates with site or construction-based experience looking to apply practical knowledge to complex assessments and design are encouraged.">
  • Demonstrated professional judgment and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving problems to brief and budget.">
  • Rubust written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.">
  • Bachelor of Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.">
