We are seeking a Materials Sourcing Expert to join our global team. This role involves leveraging technical expertise within the Product Sourcing team to deliver compliant, flexible, consistent, sustainable, and low-cost sourcing channels.
Your responsibilities will include providing technical capability, overseeing supplier technical processes, supplier audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products are delivered to specification. You will also be involved in identifying, analyzing, and reviewing instances of supplier non-conformances and developing plans to prevent their recurrence.
You will have high attention to detail and review first article products and inspection reports, providing recommendations on their technical compliance. Additionally, you will play a key role in qualifying manufacturing facilities for outsourcing Bradken products, aligning with our agreed strategy.
This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to minimize the impact of quality issues on Delivery in Full on Time (DIFOT) objectives. You will compile supplier technical information packages to ensure comprehensive documentation and understanding of supplier capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy, Materials or similar), experience in a steel and/or iron foundry environment working with cast products or similar heavy industrial manufacturing processes, and product sourcing experience with a focus on domestic and international suppliers.
We offer an estimated salary of ₹850,000 - ₹1,050,000 per annum based on location and experience. As this role requires travel to supplier sites in Kolhapur, Maharashtra as needed, being based in Kolhapur/Pune/Maharastra is highly advantageous.
