Human Resources Generalist Partner

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at A.P. Eagers Limited in Newcastle, NSW.
As a People And Safety Partner, you will play a key role in delivering value-add HR support on all people matters across the business.
The successful candidate will have:
- Consistent experience in Human Resources
- Experience interpreting and advising on Employment legislation and Modern Award entitlements
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage ER/IR matters
- Experience with HRIS Success Factors (highly regarded)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites
- A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders
- A mature and pragmatic approach
This is a true HR generalist role where no two days are the same. Suited to a highly passionate individual who embraces challenges and change, can persuade and influence, and is looking for broad technical exposure in a dynamic industry.
In this role, you will participate in the roll-out and embedding of a new HRIS - Success Factors, engage and develop strong relationships with your business partners, collaborate with the Regional and National People & Safety teams, support employee engagement through targeted action plans and initiatives, provide accurate and timely advice on all people matters including award interpretation queries, support with and conduct workplace investigations and employment relations functions, support performance management within your client group to foster a high-performing culture, support your client group with training and development needs, ensuring compliance with legislative and industry requirements, facilitate training and project implementation across your client group, ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, partner with the injury management team on complex cases such as long-term illness, and proactively contribute to the development of our People & Safety activities to deliver a best-in-class HR service.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
