Mid-Level Payroll Specialist for Melbourne Contract

We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our client in Melbourne's CBD for a temporary contract.
This role offers a flexible hybrid working environment and utilizes ADP, a leading payroll management system. The contract is expected to last at least 6 months with potential extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Efficiently manage end-to-end payroll operations using ADP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile employee pay and accrued leave entitlements, guaranteeing seamless financial transactions.
- Process documentation for new hires and departures, maintaining up-to-date records and adhering to company policies.
- Respond promptly and accurately to payroll inquiries from employees, providing exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate payroll adjustments for salary increments and contribute to month-end and year-end procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform various administrative duties, such as file maintenance, creation of new employee records, distribution of starter kits, and management of the process for police checks, including reimbursement of associated expenses.
- Previous experience with ADP is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders.
