Payroll Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Compliance Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Payroll Advisory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' compliance with payroll regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Award and EBA Employee Underpayment Reviews and Reconciliation: Work across all aspects of payroll advisory projects, focused on Award & EBA employee underpayment reviews and reconciliation, including data cleansing, reconciliation modelling, and review of reconciliation tool design, build and implementation.
- Project Planning and Management: Create, maintain and monitor project plans, schedules and tasks (in alignment to frameworks).
- Client Relationships: Organise and attend stakeholder/client meeting, manage client relationships, and build new relationships with target clients and advisors.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Excel, Alteryx, Power BI or similar platforms.
- Project Management: Proven experience as a Project Manager.
- Analytical Thinking: Committed to the successful delivery of projects and outcomes, proactive attitude, uses initiative, analytical/forensic thinker, and problem solver.
- Communication: Excellent communicator, both within a team and with external clients.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Experience with payroll compliance/pay remediation projects and good knowledge of pay compliance landscape.
- Relevant Qualification: Relevant tertiary degree/qualification.
The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
