We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee the construction of residential projects.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing allocated builds from start to settlement, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, quality delivery, and timely progress.
- Manage construction projects from commencement to completion, ensuring effective coordination of all on-site activities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing timely updates and documentation.
- Oversee high-quality construction delivery in accordance with contract terms and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure site readiness, safety, and cleanliness at all stages of construction.
- Build strong relationships with tradespeople, suppliers, and internal teams, providing support and feedback.
- Monitor and report site incidents, delays, and complete safety audits.
- Achieve practical completion signoff by the client within two weeks of the practical completion inspection.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management.
- At least 5 years' experience within the Residential Project Home Industry.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers.
- Considerable knowledge of building methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to residential home construction.
- The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems efficiently.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
