We are on the hunt for a seasoned and skilled Draftsperson to strengthen our residential construction team. Delivering exceptional results through innovative ideas, collaboration, and top-notch craftsmanship is key to our success.
About the PositionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate documentation, fostering collaboration with consultants, and providing expert advice on design and efficiency to enhance project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete all allocated drafting tasks within agreed timelines.
- Produce reports and technical information in coordination with external consultants.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement by suggesting novel building methods or materials.
- Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD with proven experience in residential drafting.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design are highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
