Our Occupational Health Team is seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in helping employees achieve their full potential and return to work safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing injuries and illnesses to ensure progress towards standardized recovery times and clear rehabilitation goals.
  • Liaising with medical specialists to coach and gain consensus on return-to-work strategies and developing formal return-to-work programs.
  • Recognition and management of fitness-for-work issues including drug, alcohol, fatigue and social issues that may impact safe working focus.
  • Counselling individuals and coaching management to support workers and facilitate successful return-to-work.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Occupational Nursing, Physiotherapy or Medical Practitioner.
  • Sound understanding of WA Workers Compensation legislation.
  • Strong process focus to support positive individual and business outcomes, with high level of coordinating, planning and organizing ability.
