About the Opportunity

Lendlease is seeking an experienced EHS Safety Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, working on a large-scale project in the Sydney CBD. This role offers the opportunity to drive safety performance and make a significant impact on our operations.

Job Summary

This role will see you work closely with the project team to lead safety across the project, driving EHS performance on site and providing technical expertise to identify issues and trends. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance on staff and subcontractors with Lendlease EHS protocols and implementing safety and training initiatives to improve our safety performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS strategies to drive safety performance on site.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify issues and trends, and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor compliance with Lendlease EHS protocols and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement safety and training initiatives to improve safety performance.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in an EHS Coordinator/Advisor position, preferably in the construction and/or engineering industries.
  • Large-scale commercial/residential project experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of local legal and regulatory health and safety requirements.
  • Clear and articulate communication skills, coupled with the ability to manage stakeholders internally and externally.
