Job Title: Portfolio Manager

The primary objective of this role is to drive strategic initiatives for portfolio management and technical excellence to ensure financial targets and portfolio strategy are delivered.

A seasoned Portfolio Manager is required to develop and execute strategic plans, incorporating market insights, competitor analysis, and customer research to inform our annual Financial Plan.

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and performance to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies accordingly.
  • Utilize data analytics to manage target markets, optimize portfolio exposure, and adhere to accumulation management requirements.
  • Lead continuous monitoring of trends and growth opportunities to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the pricing team to support development of pricing strategies and capabilities, ensuring adequacy of pricing.
  • Provide recommendations to commercial pricing decisions to achieve optimal portfolio performance within established governance and risk frameworks.

About You

We seek an analytical and critical thinking individual with experience in managing consumer products within a financial services institution, preferably in general insurance (CTP/Home/Motor).

Candidates should possess expertise in working with internal and external data and analytical tools, such as SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.

A comprehensive understanding of products, industry practices, and governing legislation is essential. Additionally, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, capable of presenting complex ideas to key stakeholders with clarity and impact.
