Infrastructure Strategist

The role of Infrastructure Strategist involves contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the management of SAPOL's built asset portfolio, ensuring alignment with the agency's priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively maintain SAPOL's commercial portfolio through high-quality leasing outcomes and manage owned land in line with government policies.
- Provide critical analysis and input into SAPOL's future infrastructure strategy and asset management plan, overseeing statewide portfolio planning, financial analysis, and operational facility requirements.
- Identify strategic relocations, negotiate complex leases, lead land acquisition and divestment activities, and provide strategic advice on accommodation and spatial occupancy.
You will be part of a collaborative team comprised of various units focused on different aspects of infrastructure management.
Special Conditions
- A current Australian work eligibility status is required, and you will undergo a criminal history check.
- You may be assigned to other duties at this level or equivalent.
- Some out-of-hours work and interstate travel may be required.
- You are expected to participate in SAPOL's employee engagement program.
