Job Description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and leading a high-performing sales team in the Southern Region. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales performance, and building strong relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a regional sales team to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve sales performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including veterinary wholesalers and buying groups.
  • Collaborate with the National Business Unit and Commercial Effectiveness team to identify and measure key sales team metrics.
  • Develop and regularly review territory account and geographical responsibilities.
  • Lead the servicing of nominated Veterinary Wholesale accounts and/or buying groups at a state office level and implement quarterly business reviews with key customers.
  • Maintain and report on market trends, competitor's activities, and other market information.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or a related field.
  • Significant experience in sales management roles in related markets or industries.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in building strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good management skills, including analytical skills, time management, objective setting, and budget preparation.
  • Highly developed skills in negotiating and influencing.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Ability to think strategically, with medium to long-term goals clearly identified, analyze data, and problem-solve in a logical manner.
