About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Forensic Specialist to join our team at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise in mental health and forensic assessment to our dynamic community.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality clinical assessments and consultations to clients with complex mental health needs and forensic presentations. They will utilize the Strengths Model of Recovery-Oriented Practice to develop targeted interventions and provide supervision, education, and leadership to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and provide expert consultations to identify treatment plans and recommendations for clients with complex mental health needs and forensic presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement targeted interventions, including risk assessments and management strategies.
  • Provide supervision, education, and leadership to staff on forensic mental health and risk assessment best practices.
