We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Investment Services business unit as the Head of Property. This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Newcastle West Office.

About the Role

The Head of Property - Investment Services is responsible for delivering strategic growth and operational leadership to the Investment Services business unit. This includes overseeing fee for service contracts and leading the Investment Services business development initiatives, as well as management and oversight of operations for the fee for service Specialist Disability Accommodation, Affordable Housing and Build to Rent portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Lead the Investment Services business development initiatives and oversee fee for service contracts.
  • Manage and oversee operations for the fee for service Specialist Disability Accommodation, Affordable Housing and Build to Rent portfolios.
  • Mentor and lead teams to produce quality outcomes.
  • Identify and effectively manage risks, including WHS and reputational risk.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Management and/or Leadership.
  • Significant experience within the Community Housing or Real Estate Industry at Management level.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development.
  • Current Real Estate Licence (desirable).
  • Demonstrated capability in mentoring and leading teams to produce quality outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of good governance and working knowledge of the relevant legislation.
