Job Description

Rubix Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Property Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Property Team, you will be responsible for proactively resolving complex property-related issues and securing alternative sites for high-risk sites in our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional telecommunications property services and advice to ensure the company can retain customers and revenue on sites.
  • Resolve property issues on existing sites and initiate alternative site search activities to secure replacement sites.
  • Complete property due diligence on existing and alternative sites, ensuring commercial terms and tenure conditions are within the Property Strategy and Lease Negotiation Guidelines.
  • Negotiate the extension of tenure on existing sites with a range of landlords, including private, corporate, government, and master agreements.
  • Issue legal instructions to the property legal team once heads of terms have been secured, working closely with the property lawyers to close out tenure documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assist Senior Project Manager – Sites at Risk with project reporting for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Work closely with external suppliers, including Planning, Design, and Specialist Consultants, to achieve desired outcomes for alternative sites.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of progress in company systems and as otherwise required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in the property telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in site acquisition, planning, leasing, and other commercial property negotiations.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to analyse and report on regulatory/government requirements in the industry.
