About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Document Management Specialist to contribute to the effective management of documents and information for our rail infrastructure project. This is a newly created role designed to support the delivery of Work Package C for the Suburban Rail Loop project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Manager, Information Management, you will play a pivotal role in working closely with project teams to understand business needs and implementing efficient document management systems.
  • You will manage incoming controlled documents, complete quality assurance checks, and oversee the release of documents.
  • Additionally, you will promote the use of correct document management processes and provide guidance and training to staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in operating and maintaining document management systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with document control practices and protocols for engineering documents.
  • Ability to work effectively with managers and senior leaders and explain complex concepts.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
