Job Title: Optical Dispenser-Part Time

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing expert advice on eyewear? We are seeking a skilled Optical Dispenser to join our dynamic team


About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser to assist our members with eyewear selections, provide expert advice on lens options, and maintain high standards of customer service. As a key member of our optical department, you will work closely with our optometrists and other team members to deliver seamless customer experiences.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist members with choosing eyeglass frames and lens options appropriate to prescription;
  • Fit and adjust spectacles, measure heights and pupil distance for various lens types and designs;
  • Process sales and place special orders to outside suppliers, stock department equipment and merchandise;
  • Maintain merchandise and department standards, ensuring confidentiality of patient information;
  • Follow proper Optical Center, general safety and security procedures, assist in other departments as necessary;
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

Requirements:
  • Be an excellent team player;
  • Have strong communication skills;
  • Enjoy high attention to detail;
  • Currently completing or previously completed Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing (highly regarded);
  • Previous experience in an optical role is highly regarded.
