Account Relationship Manager Job Description

The role of an Account Relationship Manager is pivotal in maximising revenue from key customer accounts to achieve satisfaction, agreed targets and deliverables.

This role requires a strong focus on delivering complete customer satisfaction when dealing with allocated accounts, ensuring maximum satisfaction and productivity from systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Formulating, implementing and managing strategic business plans regarding client accounts to achieve customer satisfaction and promote the use of our payroll product.
  • Cross-Business Coordination: Facilitating growth and penetration of customer contracts by leading program processes and coordinating cross-business resources.
  • Negotiation: Managing negotiations between the organisation, clients and third-party organisations involved.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with sales and support groups to demonstrate value of support offerings to clients and identify opportunities for expanded support business.
  • Client Interface: Acting as the main interface between clients and the organisation to ensure optimal levels of service are provided.
  • Liaison: Liaising between customers and product support and development staff.
  • Client Environment: Creating a client environment conducive to sales efforts.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinating resources to meet client objectives.
  • Support Monitoring: Monitoring client support activities to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with new products and releases through regular updates with Product Managers.
  • Sales Proposals: Working closely with clients to determine their present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades to maintain and grow revenue.

About This Role: As an Account Relationship Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, improving customer satisfaction and promoting the use of our payroll product. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategic business plans, coordinating cross-business resources and managing negotiations between stakeholders.
