Genomics Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation and strategic direction for our Genomics Node. As the Genomics Node Manager, you will oversee operations and business development, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our cutting-edge genomics research platform.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational and business strategy for the Genomics Node's growth and service offerings.
  • Research & Technology: Collaborate with researchers to provide expert genomics support, guiding experimental design and technology selection.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain high-level relationships with national and international research networks, funding bodies, and industry partners.
  • Business Development: Drive service expansion, introduce new genomics technologies, and secure funding from government and external sources.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and service.

About You:
- Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in genomics or a related field.
- Extensive technical expertise in genomics technologies, including spatial and single-cell genomics.
- Strong management experience, with the ability to develop and lead a high-performing team.
- Highly desirable ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders, and secure funding.
- Exceptional strategic planning, problem-solving, and business development skills.
