Lead Dam Safety Specialist

The role of Senior Asset Manager is to oversee the safety and performance of dams and headworks assets across our water and drainage systems. This involves leading efficient asset management through innovative condition monitoring, strategic maintenance planning, and exciting project development from a civil or mechanical engineering perspective.

- Conduct thorough dam safety inspections and monitor surveillance data to identify anomalies and respond promptly.
- Provide expert advice on dam safety matters across the organization, including major capital projects and dam safety reviews.
- Execute assigned asset management tasks in accordance with established processes and procedures.
- Develop business cases for capital projects aligned with our capital management system.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing technical guidance to support operational excellence.
- You hold a tertiary qualification in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a solid understanding of the water and sewerage system.
- You possess a deep understanding of dam safety management principles and have experience applying regulatory and industry best practices in risk management.
- You have experience in lifecycle management of water industry assets or equivalent sectors, including condition monitoring.
