Senior Dam Safety Expert

Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join our team. This key role involves overseeing the management and enhancement of dam safety and performance across water and drainage systems.
Main Responsibilities- Lead asset management through condition monitoring, strategic maintenance planning, and project development from a civil or mechanical engineering perspective.
- Conduct intermediate and comprehensive dam safety inspections, monitor anomalies in surveillance data and field reports, and provide subject matter expertise across the business.
- Implement assigned asset management tasks according to established processes and procedures, and initiate and develop business cases for capital projects.
To succeed in this position, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A highly developed understanding of dam safety management and dams engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to influence decision making and provide guidance.
