Eastern Health is seeking a seasoned Engineering and Facilities professional to lead the strategic and operational delivery of safe, sustainable, and compliant infrastructure.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visionary leadership across multiple sites, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring seamless integration of engineering and facilities management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning and execution of facility upgrades and maintenance projects
  • Effective management of budgets and resources to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to drive project outcomes and enhance customer experience
  • Identification and mitigation of risks related to facilities management

Requirements:

For this challenging role, Eastern Health requires an individual with:

  • Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer or equivalent qualification in a related field
  • Extensive experience in engineering and facilities management within healthcare or similar complex environments
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including team management and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, regulations, and legislation related to healthcare and OHS
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level
