About the Role

  • Lead national facilities management, ensuring safe and compliant operations across stores and corporate offices.
  • Develop and implement the national facilities maintenance plan, driving continuous improvement in service and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee energy management and environmental performance, partnering with sustainability to deliver on company targets.
  • Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations and lease agreements.
  • Provide financial oversight of budgets and assets.
  • Support construction, fitout, and renewal programs, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with building standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers and specialists, building capability and fostering a positive culture.
  • Act as the key liaison with regulators and external partners on compliance and energy issues.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in facilities management or property leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or extensive industry experience in facilities management, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance systems, building compliance, and OHS obligations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale budgets and contracts.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational delivery and long-term planning.
  • Strong leadership capability—experienced in managing managers and fostering high-performance teams.
