About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead our technology teams. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of complex software engineering and testing projects, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop resource plans and objectives for the Software Engineering function that align with our 3-year strategic plan and annual IT goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing Software Engineers and Test Engineers, fostering a positive team culture and providing mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Oversee Delivery Leads and Team Leads in planning and executing technology solutions, ensuring strategic alignment, efficient resource management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Define, implement, and enforce software engineering and testing standards, practices, processes, and tooling to enhance productivity and team performance.
  • Identify and manage risks within the Software Engineering function, collaborating with IT Security and Risk teams to implement controls and manage risks effectively.
Your Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering complex software engineering and testing projects.
  • Success in hiring, retaining, and developing high-performance teams.
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ Software Engineers and Test Analysts, including performance reviews.
  • Deep knowledge of software engineering and testing standards, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong leadership skills in maintaining, enhancing, and delivering technical solutions.
