Technical Leadership Manager

We seek an accomplished Technical Leadership Manager to join our Maritime Sustainment programme based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to deliver engineering outputs within the triple constraints of quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Ensure that all engineering outputs meet company processes and operational needs of customers.
  • Estimate, resource, and deliver the required engineering effort for the technical solution.
  • Lead the development of high-performance teams with a focus on growing new starters.
  • Develop tactical plans for the execution of the technical aspects of the project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions as necessary. They will also ensure high levels of engagement with external stakeholders and directly interact with the customer on resolving technical approaches and solutions.

This role requires extensive experience as a professional engineer, proven technical knowledge needed to deliver products, and ability to manage technical methodology and processes to be followed. The ideal applicant should also have experience in relevant technical tools for engineering analysis and solution development.
