About the RoleThis is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates in allied health professions to unlock their full potential and collaborate with seasoned professionals. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients, insurers, employers, and medical practitioners to provide expert guidance and assistance to individuals facing work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Conduct assessments of client's needs and develop customized rehabilitation plans to facilitate their recovery and return to work
- Provide expert advice and support to clients, insurers, employers, and medical practitioners
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
- Keep accurate records of clients' progress and report on outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in occupational therapy, psychology, exercise physiology, physiotherapy, social work, or rehabilitation counselling
- Working towards full registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
