ADF Rehabilitation Specialist

As a leading provider of healthcare services, we are seeking a skilled ADF Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to support ADF personnel who have sustained physical and psychological injuries.

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our military personnel. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to ensure our service members receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including employees who have suffered injury or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers, and allied health professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans to support the recovery of ADF personnel.
  • Perform assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of each individual and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
Requirements:
  • Current registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals
