Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Embark on a fulfilling career as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, where you will play a vital role in helping individuals return to meaningful occupations.

In this capacity, you will conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify treatment and rehabilitation needs of workers who have experienced work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses.

  • Expertly guide individuals in returning to occupational activities through comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers following an injury or illness, providing tailored support for optimal recovery.
  • Collaborate with clients to discover new employment or training opportunities based on their skills, qualifications, and interests.
  • Conduct various assessments depending on clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments.
  • Effectively manage cases, planning, coordinating, and monitoring client progress towards return-to-work goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
