Halcyon Knights is on the lookout for a
Facilities and Asset Management Officer to contribute to a government department based in a metropolitan area for a temporary contract with potential for extension.

This position offers comprehensive support and project oversight for the execution and coordination of the department's Asset Management strategic initiatives.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Formulate and oversee asset maintenance strategies, ensuring that property data is current within departmental and governmental systems.
⦁ Manage property records for the department's owned and leased properties to fulfill departmental and governmental reporting obligations.
⦁ Cultivate productive relationships with the department's operational divisions, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of accommodation and facilities projects.
⦁ Review and process property and facilities invoices for prompt payment.
⦁ Collaborate with the Assets team to assess and implement security protocols and measures for sites.
⦁ Support accommodation and property management functions, ensuring projects are executed within timelines and budget constraints.
⦁ Track financial resources and provide insights to aid in financial assessments and forecasts.
⦁ Address asset and accommodation inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring sufficient departmental assistance.
⦁ Execute property and accommodation initiatives to bolster the department's operational objectives.
⦁ Coordinate asset maintenance agreements and assist site managers in effectively overseeing facilities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
⦁ In-depth knowledge of the property and facilities management sector along with pertinent governmental policies.
⦁ Proficient in project management, consultation, and negotiation techniques.
⦁ Capability to maintain precise property records and databases.
⦁ Strong skills in financial oversight and budget management.

The ideal candidate must possess a valid police clearance or be willing to obtain one promptly. Residency in the relevant state is required.
