Workplace Injury Coordinator

The role of an Occupational Health Specialist involves coordinating claims and injury management processes for employers and their workers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting employers in meeting their legal obligations under Workcover legislation
- Providing claims management services and support to injured or ill workers
- Liaising between employees, workplaces, and claims or insurance staff
- Collaborating with treating practitioners and external service providers
- Facilitating return-to-work plans
- Ensuring employees obtain appropriate medical support
- Managing associated administration and reporting tasks
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of three years of experience in managing or supporting claims associated with workplace injuries, rehabilitation, or similar
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- A well-developed knowledge of Workcover NSW legislation
- The ability to provide relevant guidance and advice to customers
- Computer literacy, with experience using financial services or claims-related software systems
