Job Title: Injury Management Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to support our national team in Sydney as an Injury Management Coordinator. The successful candidate will assist the National Injury Management Advisor with the administration of employee injury management and return-to-work processes.

This is a part-time permanent position that requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure timely return to work for injured employees.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Supporting the triage of injuries or illnesses in conjunction with the injured employee, supervisor, or manager to provide quick and appropriate medical treatment.
  • Liaising with site management to develop a return-to-work plan that identifies suitable duties based on the work capacity of the injured party.
  • Maintaining contact with site management and/or injured employees to monitor the progress of their recovery and return to work.
  • Maintaining the SOLV Injury database with information related to all claims.
  • Providing administrative support to the local People & Culture team for long-term absent employees, following the company's Fit For Work process.

What We Need From You:

  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work training/qualification or similar would be highly regarded.
  • Workers Compensation / Injury Management Coordinator training, Cert IV Personal Injury Management would be an advantage but not required.
  • Demonstrated capability working in a similar position within a multi-site organisation.
  • Understanding of applicable State / Territory Workers compensation schemes (case management experience will be highly regarded).
