Job Title: Senior Clinical PractitionerThis is a unique opportunity to lead clinical practice in wound care and infection control. You will utilize your experience as a Nurse Practitioner, understanding of evidence-based practice, and commitment to high-quality clinical aged care to lead and develop contemporary wound care practices.
  • Leading and implementing contemporary wound care policy and practices.
  • Providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to healthcare professionals, older people, and families.
  • Serving as a resource and mentor for Nurse Practitioners seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in wound care practices.

The ideal candidate has advanced wholistic clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, confidence in using digital solutions, proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fostering a culture of compassionate care and dignity for older people and their families.
  • Collaborating with Clinical Experts to develop wound management programs.
  • Developing an implementation plan to establish and evaluate the programs.
Requirements:
  • Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner by NMBA & Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated NP experience in wound care with a specialty in pressure injury prevention.
  • Advanced degree in nursing (Master's degree or higher).
  • Min 10 years clinical nursing experience, ideally in wound care.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Willingness to obtain Police Check.
