Wound Care Specialist

The position of Wound Care Specialist is available in a comprehensive medical group dedicated to providing high-quality care across the continuum.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing wound care services for patients residing in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to assess and treat patients with wounds
  • Provide timely and effective wound care services to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient care encounters accurately and efficiently using electronic health records
  • Participate in phone and messaging consultations with facility staff as needed
Requirements:
  • Valid license as a PA/NP in the state of practice
  • Active DEA registration
  • General knowledge or experience in post-acute/SNF care preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and charting practices essential
