Nursing Leadership Position in Acute Care

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our Acute Assessment Centre 2C, AUC. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity for professionals looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities- To deliver exceptional nursing services within our Quaternary health service settings.
- To guide and support less experienced staff while taking accountability for own practice standards.
- To work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to promote continuity and consistency of care across the ward or unit.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with the Nursing board of Australia and a valid practising certificate.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience or current classification as a Clinical Nurse, with a proven track record in Acute and Chronic nursing practice.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise your workload effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing issues, alongside experience supervising less experienced nursing staff.
