The Role:

We are looking for a Planning Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the planning function and its team members.

This role holds full accountability for accurate forecasting, contingency planning, and management of all inventory and OTB across the division to ensure seamless operations and drive business success.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Team Leadership: Lead all planning functions, processes, and team members.
  • Counsel Team Members: Coach team members to develop existing skills and enhance performance.
  • Financial Planning: Drive strategic plans to support overall business growth, bringing the product strategy to financial life.
  • Budget Development: Develop budgets for key KPIs (Sales, GP, Intake, CSOH, GMROI & Stockturn) in line with agreed financial targets.
  • Forecast Review Process: Lead and manage the forecast review process in collaboration with the buying team to identify opportunities and risks.
  • KPI Management: Monthly tracking of KPI's to compare with budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • OTB Management: Manage volume lines and in-stock requirements, minimizing risk and markdowns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Provide commentary and insights into the week that was, as well as any risks/opportunities to the forward plan.
  • Brand Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, representing core values.

Requirements:

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and AP21.
  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: Merchandise planner or manager.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus and professional approach.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
